About KenKen Vest is a proven leader with more than 20 years experience as a broadcast journalist and a senior public relations counselor. Prior to setting up his own business seven years ago he was a vice president at Powell Tate, specializing in media training and crisis communications. Well regarded as a media and presentation trainer, Ken has worked with CEOs and top executives from a wide range of businesses and Washington, D. C. associations to improve their news interview and presentation skills. He has coached executives from major corporations such as Prudential Financial, IDT Communications, Syngenta, and Bridgestone/Firestone. He also has extensive experience in crisis communications and managing successful publicity and public policy campaigns. Ken served as a senior counselor for three of Washington’s leading associations, AARP, the American Council of Life Insurers and the American Highway Users Alliance. He has appeared as a spokesman on network news programs such as Nightline, CBS Morning News, CNN and Primetime Live. As a broadcast journalist he worked in local television news throughout the nation, and as a Washington correspondent for KRON-TV in San Francisco, American Broadcast News and Outlet Communications. A graduate of Southwest Texas State University, Ken served in the U. S. Army from 1969 to 1971.
